Courgette (Zucchini) "Sunny Ball" F1.
An abundance of bright fruits with tender, sweet flesh.
A very early, incredibly fertile hybrid variety. The fruits are perfectly round with a glossy, bright yellow skin.
This productive hybrid features continuous fruiting right up until the autumn frosts. The compact bush plants quickly produce a generous, sun-filled harvest of round courgettes. It takes only 40-45 days from seedling emergence to the first harvest. You shouldn't delay picking the fruits, as regular harvesting stimulates the formation of new ovaries. The juiciest and most tender zucchinis weigh no more than 180-200 g. Slightly larger ones are absolutely perfect for stuffing. In cooking, you can even use the fresh blossoms from young ovaries, surprising your guests with a trendy and unusual dish (e.g., battered flowers, Turkish dolma, or an exquisite Italian frittata). The fruits are ideal for canning, frying, steaming, and stuffing.
Agrotechnics.
Direct sowing outdoors is done by placing 2-3 seeds per planting hole at a depth of 3-5 cm (once the soil has warmed up). At the stage of 1-2 true leaves, the seedlings are carefully thinned out, leaving the single strongest plant per hole. Growing from seedlings is also an excellent option: sow seeds indoors in pots during the first ten days of May. The ready 20-25-day-old seedlings are planted in the open ground only when the threat of late frosts has completely passed.
